Canning butter is a straightforward process with the added benefit of an extended shelf life, making it a great addition to your food storage. If you have extra stocked-up butter in your freezer, and want to add it to your shelf….this is the way! Here’s a canning butter recipe: for every 1 ½ sticks of butter, you’ll need about 1 pint jar. Calculate the number of jars based on the amount of butter you have. Each stick is typically ½ cup. Melt the butter gently, stirring continuously to avoid burn
