ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) - Most of the state north of the Alaska Range is under a Winter Storm Warning through the weekend as over a foot of snow is expected in Western Alaska, the Slope and the Interior by Monday.

"A powerful storm is bringing dangerous seas, blizzard conditions, strong winds and bitterly cold temperatures," the NOAA said.
